Imaginisce Spooky Town

Halloween is upon us! Here are a few layouts I did with the Spooky Town line from Imaginisce. I just love these cute and whimsical papers! The rub ons and chipboard pieces are just awesome. I hid my journaling under the small photos on the last two pages. I attached a flower with a brad center so I could easily spin the photos to reveal the journaling. I just love the first layout of Marley playing peek-a-boo with her Halloween bucket! These were just the perfect photos for this cute line of papers!!! I hope everyone has a Happy Halloween!!!

More Imaginisce Teacher's Pet Projects

I have been at it again with the great Teacher's Pet line from Imaginisce. My daughter starts preschool next week and her teacher will be coming for our home visit tomorrow. I wanted to have her a little something to wish her a great school year. I used a party favor bag type box and decorated the front with red cardstock and the Imaginisce Teacher's Pet paper. I used the crayons rub ons, apple rub on and "best teacher" stamp to finish the front. I tied some of the Teacher's Pet ribbon to the handle and the outside wish finished in minutes. I used a jumbo paper clip and punches to create a bookmark which also adds to the front decor. On the inside I put some candy, apple shaped post its with a pretty cover, large binder clip photo holder and a cute pen. I also made a holder for a Crystal Light powder type drink mix which I will hang on the top of a bottle of water. I topped my creation off with some white tissue paper with a little tag that reads "Have a great year!"

Happy Scrappin!

Imaginisce Teacher's Pet School Bus Album

I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to work with Imaginisce's new line Teacher's Pet as a Xyron Design Team assignment. This is the cutest line ever! It is perfect for all of those back to school projects we are all currently working on as the beginning of another school year is just around the corner. I used our large Sizzix die at our school to cut the base for the album. I painted the front yellow and decorated the front with the cute Imaginisce chipboard, ribbon and brads. I traced out the inner pages from the chipboard covers and cut them out by hand. I used the Imaginisce double sided Teacher's Pet line papers, felt pieces, stamps, ribbon, brads, stickers, chipboard and flowers to embellish the pages. I now have an adorable album ready for my daughter's first year of preschool photos. I hope this project has inspired you to create some great back to school projects and don't forget to pick up some of the awesome products from Imaginisce's Teacher's Pet line to use!

Happy Scrappin!!!

My Mind's Eye

I was provided with this beautiful paper from My Mind's Eye called Bloom and Grow to create some Xyron Design Team projects. The first layout is of my daughter Marley and her cousin Erin. She always calls Erin her "sister". Since both of the girls are only children they are the closest thing to a sister each other will have in life. So, I used one of my favorite photos of them with Marley hugging Erin and created this page called My Sister At Heart. I hand cut the flowers from the MME paper and used Prima leaves behind them to form a heart shaped flower frame. I then hand cut the flower stem from the MME paper as well. I used my Sizzix machine to cut the chipboard hearts and paper to cover them. I used my Cricut to cut the @ symbol. I even used the paper's title Bloom and Grow from the strip of paper on the bottom of the patterned paper that you cut off and throw away as a subtitle at the bottom of the page. I must say this is one of my favorite layouts that I've created lately.

The next layout with the MME paper is of me. Isn't it so hard to scrap yourself? It is for me anyway. I just loved the birds and the Passionate printed die cut, so I decided to scrap myself and tell a few things I'm passtionate about which are my family, my career, my life and my scrapbooking!

National Scrapbooking Day!!!

I hope everyone enjoyed National Scrapbooking Day and got a ton of layouts done. I spent the day surfing the AC Bailey's Design Team Blog Hop which was loads of fun. I learned a ton of cool stuff and completed the challenge which required you to use 3 techniques you learned through the Blog Hop. I chose to use the ribbon flowers, Glossy Accents patterned paper and chipboard buttons and creating a journaling tag from scraps. I used beautiful papers and die cuts from My Mind's Eye Penny Lane Collection. I really like how my NSD Blog Hop Challenge LO came out.

Kaiser Craft Kick

As you can see I have been on a Kaiser Craft kick lately. I just love their products. Their Beyond the Page items are my favorite. I completed the Purse, Desk Clock and Christmas Journal from this line. Their papers are great too. I used the Little Miss line to create the double page layout of my niece Erin's 4th birthday party. I also used the Kaiser Girl rub ons for the title. I used the Tudor paper line on the Desk Clock and the Winter Wonderland line on the Christmas Journal. I used My Little Yellow Bicycle Love Letters line on the Purse album.
